There is no true reasoning behind the way people act - no way to explain, in full detail, the process of the finest mind as it decides whether or not it should like one thing or another. People cannot help being drawn to some things. It has nothing to do with "nature," or "inherent evil," or the fact that some may be "angels" while others are "monsters" - some things just are what they are.

Not to say that the field of psychology is complete and utter bullshit, but the point is, explaining exactly why Eden is the way she is - which is, colloquially speaking, a pedophile and a rapist - well, that doesn't suit the purposes at hand right now. Focusing on whatever positive characteristics she may have isn't helpful, either. Relationships ought to be forged on existence and emotion, not reason. Society supports logic. Eden supports the heart. As always, society wins.

Eden is a criminal of the "I had no idea, she always seemed so nice" variety, the proverbial wolf in sheepskin. Therefore, friendships are welcome, necessary, and often used - not necessarily in that order, but it makes for a good general rule and a neat turn of phrase. She doesn't trust easily, though she maintains the facade of doing so; then again, it's difficult to trust anyone in such a city.

Admittedly, she is somewhat biased against non-Holic members, and may screw others over for her own benefits. But disregarding her tendency to be smug, teasing, and pushy (as all friends must be from time to time), she is remarkably reliable for a resident of Solemnitas. Promise to be gentle?

At the risk of sounding pretentious, the hearts of men are weak, and hatred is fostered quicker than love. Members of other gangs, perhaps relatives of former victims, anything of the sort. Hell, even someone within her own gang hating her wouldn't be strange. Eden knows her boundaries, and rarely initiates a fight unless rejection of some sort was involved - so it's more than likely that someone else will have to be the aggressor. On the other hand, she can be fairly unstable at times, and certain triggers can push her to be murderous and violent.

Hello, hope you done mind me slipping in a few pointless observations. c:

All right, so I think Victor would merely find Eden to be an amusing factor to the gang. Though he's quite the arrogant bastard and treats his own gang-mates with the same mocking as he treats everyone (especially since he's planning to eventually overthrow Arlynn somehow -- lol, that crazy kid and his lofty ambitions), he'd probably just find it vaguely interesting to watch Eden and figure out how she works. He considers himself something of a puzzle-master, hence one of the reasons as to why he changed his surname. He likes observing people and figuring them out. As a rapist (with occasional tendencies to do with pedophilia), he wouldn't mind the way she might act around younger boys. He'd just think it was funny and wouldn't mind watching any scene that might involve a little bad touch. That said, he doesn't go by the same mindset. He rapes for control, feeding off his own god-complex. I'm not very good at coming up with ideas on the spot, but I don't really see him initiating any hostile behavior towards her or anything. She's just another amusing member of the gang he'd probably observe from time to time, probably mocking and taunting as is usual of him. I wish I had better ideas. ):

I swear I responded to this yesterday, but I must have forgotten to post it or something. I fail. My sincerest apologies.

Anyway, I don't mind, do feel welcome! Your ideas are just fine, hah. It all sounds interesting.

Eden, in turn, might find Victor a bit unnerving. She wouldn't be scared of him, exactly, but he'd definitely be fairly off-putting considering his quirks. Sort of an "a-ack, not him" thing? She doesn't take being mocked and taunted all that well, either, so her reactions are going to be fun, ahahaha. Nothing like outright anger, but more like mild annoyance - Victor might find that amusing. If he ever did try to overthrow Arlynn somehow, Eden would probably side against him... if it came to that kind of divide in the gang. She might try to keep tabs on him or something, since he's sort of unpredictable and she'd want to try and stabilize the gang. Basically, she tries to be Mama Bear unify the gang, but, well, that isn't happening.

...I-I fail at coming up with ideas on the spot, too..
