She didn't feel like she belonged in any of the other gangs, and also has a bit of an odd infatuation with the gang's leader. The only thing she cares about aside from herself and her poisons is the gang, and she's desperate to see it rise from its low position. REASON, Leanne was born as the youngest in a two child family, with middle-class parents and a two year older sister, Maria. Her parents had only ever wanted one 'perfect' child, and her conception was merely the result of a careless accident. Her parents, not believing in adoption or abortion, did keep her, but she was always overshadowed by her much loved older sister. As time went on, Maria seemed to have everything. Good looks, multiple talents, charisma, grace, and popularity. She was everything that her parents had always wanted, and the amount of affection that Leanne got continued to plummet. Being more interested in science and chemistry than anything, she didn't fit their desired definition of an attractive, popular, and feminine daughter. She tried hard to win their affection without giving away who she was, but try as she might, neither them nor her sister ever gave her any notice. Eventually, she gave up. But that didn't keep the resentment from building within her. She had the rather odd hobby of developing chemicals, acids, and poisons with her knowledge of chemistry, which was something all of them had always gawked at and called weird and useless. One day, when she was 13, she decided to show them just how powerful such a skill could be. It was that night that she slipped a clear, tasteless poison of her own creation in her family's drinks at dinner. Turns out the dosage had been a bit stronger than she'd thought. Her sister was permanently paralyzed from the waist down, but her parents weren't so lucky. They passed away before the next morning. With her poison being unique, discrete, and uncatalogued, the doctors and police couldn't identify the exact cause of her family's injuries and fatalities. Not considered a suspect, she was taken into foster care after that. She hadn't originally meant to actually kill her parents, but she'd already gone completely mad at this point with denied guilt and emotion, and fear of both herself and the world around. Eventually, she became very cold, unpredictable, unstable, oddly childish and naive, and illogical. She developed a 'hobby' of testing out her poisons on others. When her foster parents and several of their friends died similar deaths as her parents, she was finally taken into custody by the police to be questioned. It was then that they caught her slipping poison into the water bottle of an officer with their surveillance cameras, and the mystery behind the deaths was solved.
